Cross Country

The location is the SVSS field in Davis California. The entry fee of $15 per team, will be collected at the field. The field will be open for practice and fun flying on Friday. A Motel 6 is only four miles from the field at I-80 & Mace Blvd in Davis (530) 753-3777. Winches open after brief pilots meeting around 9:30 on both days. We'll be using a recent and familiar course. Course maps will be provided at the field. On both days you can relaunch as often as you want. Saturday's task is distance. The scoring is real simple. The team with the most miles is the winner. Saturday's flight time ends at 4:00 PM. Sunday's task is speed we'll use FAI scoring for the course. Sunday's flight time ends at 3 PM. An awards presentation follows flying on both days. A total of nine awards will be presented. The top three on Saturday, Sunday and Overall.
